2018-07-10IRPC joined in “Plastic Rights” event to promote responsible use of plastic

      IRPC together with Thammasat University and surrounding community organized “Plastic Rights with Rayong River Conservation Boat” whereby Mr. Sukrit Surabotsopon, President of IRPC Public Co., Ltd., Assistant Professor Dr. Parinya Thaewanarumitkul, Vice Rector for Sustainability and Administration ( Rangsit Center) and Mr. Teerawat Sudsook, Rayong Deputy Governor presided over the opening of the event which was held at Kodpor Public Park, Rayong whereby governmental agencies, community leader and surrounding community, Rayong River and Mangrove Conservation Group, operator, lecturer and student of Thammasat University joined in the activities to raise awareness for water conservation and keeping clean water resources, along with separation of waste and recycling in a structured and sustainable manner.
       Plastic Rights Market 3R was organized to promote and raise awareness on how to use plastics responsibly and adjust the attitude of the general public that "Plastic is not a villain, love the earth with responsible use of plastic" resulted in plastics not being a burden or garbage that can impact the society in accordance to principle of 3R which is to reduce the use of unnecessary waste, reuse recyclable waste before recycle and the 5S project with cooperation from many agencies, entrepreneurs, experts, academics to provide interesting knowledge and activities.  The event ended with the Big Cleaning activities to separate plastic waste at the IRPC Network Learning Center, Rayong.
