On August 4, 2022, IRPC Public Company Limited, together with the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (mhesi) and Mae Fah Luang University (MFL) with Mr. Phayom Boonyoung, Executive Vice President, IRPC Innovation Center, Dr. Wiparat De-ong Executive Director, National Research Council of Thailand Institute and Asst. Prof. Dr.Phanuphong Chaiwut  Acting Director, Mae Fah Luang University, Research and Innovation Institute signed a memorandum of understanding at National Research Exhibition 2022, Centara Grand Hotel and Bangkok Convention Center, Central World Bangkok, to fund research on the technology of manufacturing semi-permeable membranes for lithium-ion batteries by dry production method with the objective to jointly study and ensure practical use of the work of Thai research in the industrial sector to increase competitiveness domestically and internationally.
