Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program: T-VER The Floating Solar Power Plant was registered as a T-VER project, which is expected to reduce GHG emissions an average of about 9,459 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent per year (tCO2eq/y) during the carbon credit calculation period of 7 years, from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2027. Assessing risks, impacts and opportunities in accordance with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) guidelines IRPC fully recognizes the risks associated with climate change as a major threat to sustainable development that may impact the company’s business operations. These include physical risks from natural disasters and risks arising from the rapid changes in policies, regulations and technologies as society and economies shift towards more climate friendly future (transition risks). The Company has adopted the Task Force on ClimateRelated Financial Disclosures (TCFD) in four key areas: Governance, Strategy, Risk Management, and Metrics and Targets as guidelines for assessing risks, impacts and opportunities in line with our business operations in 2022.
