IRPC Public Company Limited, or “IRPC,” was formerly known as Thai Petrochemical Industry Company Limited, or “TPI,” which was founded by the Liewpairat family. The company began commercial production of plastic resin in 1982 and continuously expanded its production capacity, while also constructing factories, essential utilities, and logistics systems to support fully integrated operations.

On March 17, 1995, IRPC marked a major milestone by becoming a listed company on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Just a few years later, the company weathered the storm of the 1997 Asian financial crisis and entered a formal business rehabilitation process in 2000. With resilience and strategic focus, IRPC made a strong recovery and officially rebranded as IRPC Public Company Limited on April 26, 2006.

Today, IRPC and its subsidiaries operate Thailand’s only fully integrated petrochemical complex, located in Rayong Province. Our operations span the entire value chain—from oil refining to upstream, midstream, and downstream petrochemical production—supported by robust infrastructure including a deep-sea port, oil storage terminals, and an on-site power plant.
