The award celebrates IRPC’s success in creating specialised, phthalate-free polypropylene plastic pellets using Non-Phthalate Catalyst technology, tailored for medical products and food packaging to enhance consumer safety. IRPC earned recognition for promoting gender equality through community engagement, focusing on empowering elderly women in Rayong Province to develop sustainable income-generating skills. IRPC Public Co., Ltd., represented by Vitarn Jindamai, Vice President of IRPC Industrial Zone, Corporate Social Responsibility and Community, received the second runner-up award at the 2024 Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Awards, hosted by UN Women. The award was given in the category of promoting gender equality through community activities and industrial engagement. The recognition highlights the company’s initiatives aimed at empowering elderly people in Rayong Province, particularly elderly women, by equipping them with skills to generate income and contribute sustainably to society. The award for promoting gender equality through community activities and industrial engagement is presented to organisations that support gender equality through community involvement. This includes integrating strategies to promote gender equality and sustainable development through charitable or social projects, as well as collaborating with NGOs, international organisations, and other groups committed to achieving greater gender balance within the community.

IRPC Public Co., Ltd., under the leadership of President and CEO Kris Imsang, has been awarded a certificate of honour as a 2024 Climate Action Leading Organisation (CALO), recognising its outstanding role in greenhouse gas management. Presented by Jatuporn Buruspat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, this award places IRPC among 23 organisations in Thailand acknowledged for high standards in greenhouse gas reduction, with IRPC attaining a gold-level rating for emission measurement and reduction, and a bronze level for greenhouse gas compensation. The award celebrates IRPC’s commitment to sustainable resource and energy management, driven by ongoing research and innovations in material and energy development. By integrating clean and renewable energy in its production process, IRPC is advancing towards its ambitious goal of a 20% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.

IRPC Public Company Limited (IRPC) received the Green Industry Award plaque from Mr. Ekanat Promphan, the Minister of Industry, who presided over the opening ceremony of the event “Towards Sustainable Success… Alongside Community and Environmental Care… with Green Industry.” This event was organized by the Ministry of Industry and held at the Makkhawan Rangsan Room, 3rd floor, Army Club (Vibhavadi), Bangkok. IRPC Public Company Limited (IRPC) received the Eco Factory Award from Mr. Ekanat Promphan, the Minister of Industry, at the Eco Innovation Forum 2024 academic seminar, themed “Now Thailand: Sustainable Futures – Investing in Thailand for a Sustainable Future.” The event, organized by the Institute of Industrial Environment of the Federation of Thai Industries, took place at the Grand Hall, Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna. IRPC has received the Eco Factory Award for the 10th consecutive year due to its effective, efficient, and safe management practices.
