IRPC collaborated with the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University in developing “PAKPING pillows” to reduce acid reflux symptoms

On November 21, 2022, IRPC Innovation Center, IRPC Plc. together with the Faculty of Medicine Chulalongkorn University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Piyapan Prueksapanich, Faculty of Medicine, a specialist in gastrointestinal diseases, developed “PAKPING” pillow to treat gastroesophageal reflux patients; by adjusting the angle making the head area higher than the stomach area to prevent acid reflux and improves quality of sleep, relieve back and neck pain. The material is made from IRPC’s memory foam polyurethane (Polyurethane: PU) with high density, soft and flexible with the ability to recover its shape easily to fit the user’s body contour.  The pillow can also prevent dust mites and reduce the accumulation of bacteria and mold; it is available now at Lor Chula Store, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University.
