IRPC unveiled Eco-friendly Euro-5 Diesel with first launch on December 25, 2023
on December 25, 2023, Mr. Kris Imsang, President and Chief Executive Officer, IRPC Public Co., Ltd. presided over the first sales delivery of eco-friendly Euro-5 diesel which represents a significant opportunity for IRPC to manufacture and distribute Euro 5 standard clean diesel with 10 PPM lower sulfur content that reduces hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxide emission and exhaust smoke generated during combustion leading to the reduction in PM 2.5 level. This will fulfill the high demand for low-sulfur diesel in Thailand and the neighboring ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) through eco-friendly manufacturing process.
The production of Euro-5 standard diesel has successfully met the government’s 2024 target which reduces environmental impacts with efficient dust reduction and enhance the public’s quality of life. This also aligns with IRPC’s goal of becoming a Net Zero Emission organization in 2060, achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and reduce 20% carbon dioxide emissions by 2030.
